Leak Detection and Repair
IRC Plumbing specializes in Leak Detection and repair. After working in the plumbing field for generations, there are signs we know to look for, and most of the time we fix leaks pretty quickly and efficiently. Take this one, for example.

Repairing the Leaks
For the project pictured here, we rerouted the affected water line through the wall rather than opening the floor. The damaged section was taken out of service, and the new line restored the water supply.
Every home is different. The best repair route depends on the leak’s location, access to the piping, and the home’s layout. Before work begins, we explain the proposed repair and any wall or floor openings it may require.

What to remember!
A water-line leak is a good reason to evaluate the condition of your home’s plumbing. One leak does not automatically mean you need a whole-house repipe. The best approach depends on the pipe’s condition, previous leaks, and the location of the damage.
A repair may address an isolated problem. In other situations, rerouting the affected line can provide an alternative to opening the floor. Homes with recurring leaks may benefit from discussing a larger repiping plan.
At IRC Leak Detection & Plumbing Inc., we help homeowners in Sebastian, Vero Beach, and Indian River County understand their repair options. We explain the work involved so you can make an informed decision about your home.
If you’re going out of town, shut your water off at the house. Nothing worse than going to a house call with someone on vacation, and their neighbor noticed water coming down the driveway. Sending pictures to a homeowner of their house flooded is heartbreaking. Be safe and turn your water off, please. You just turn that little yellow handle in the picture.
